ABOUT US
Carewell Society is a NGO based in Nagaland, dedicated to uplifting lives and fostering sustainable development. Founded on the values of compassion, inclusivity, empowerment, and sustainability, we work across diverse sectors including disability welfare, HIV support, rural development, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, education, and labor rights.
Through our initiatives—ranging from startup entrepreneurship, livestock development, rural deveagricultural productivity to elderly care and waste management—we aim to create lasting impact and opportunities for communities. Educational Empowerment
Carewell society has established multiple study centres and provide resources to help students and young aspirants prepare for exams, continue their education, and build brighter futures.
Entrepreneurship Support
By connecting individuals with government initiatives and schemes, aspiring entrepreneurs gain access to training, mentorship, and resources to grow their ventures and strengthen local economies. One example is a program for young entrepreneurs to acquire tourist taxis through the CMMFI scheme, which provided participants with the support and guidance needed to benefit from the opportunity.
Labour Welfare & Empowernment
Efforts focus on helping workers gain access to labour welfare schemes and ensuring they receive fair wages. By facilitating awareness and support for these programs, workers are able to improve their livelihoods, secure their families’ well-being, and enjoy safer, more stable working conditions. These initiatives not only protect rights but also empower individuals to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
